Rectus Boiler cleaning with rotating brushes

How the cleaning is performed
The easiest way to clean is when the boiler has a temperature from 50 – 60 Celsius, this is when the soot has a specific gravity which fits in order to be transported by air. The conic exhausting head is being placed in the boilers steam/smoke pipe and through the back of the exhausting head the axle is lead into the pipe. On the axle’s end a bearing house is placed with a diameter of 30 mm, where the steel brush is mounted. With 1400/2800 rpm the brush will than rotate through the pipe.

Soot and dust in the boiler means increase if oil consumption.
Even in the most perfect adjusted heating unit, soot cover in the pipes is not to be avoided - and a cover of only 1 mm means, that approx. 10% of the heat is unexploited going through the chimney. Periodic cleaning should be undertaking if costs of the oil consumption and heating should be kept down. Cleaning is necessary in big and in small heating units.
